For many years the Williams family has been devoted to quality piano service in the Boston Area. In 1927, Ernest A. Williams began a 15-year term as a piano technician for the New England Conservatory of Music, which he had recently attended. In the late 1930's he began to work out of his home as a piano technician.
Charging just $4.00 for a piano tuning, he began to build a devoted clientele. Some of these early customers are still active in our files and it is not unusual for one of our customers to have worked with each of the three generations of the Williams' family
In 1952, Ernest and Caroline Williams, realized a long-time ambition and opened a small retail piano store on route 9 in Brookline. Three years later, they moved the store to it's present location at 123 Harvard Street in Brookline.
Today, the Williams' family tradtition continues with fair prices, dedicated customer service and high quality Yamaha pianos.
Let our experience with pianos be a guide to you...
